Bus
tour of the Geoghegan territories ancient and not so ancient. James
Geoghegan Bus Company of Moate provided the driver (Vincent
Geoghegan) and guide (Val Connaughton). We were also delighted with
the depth of local and family knowledge provided by Fred and
Joe Geoghegan and Joe Fox (aged 89) who really added a special
significance to the tour. Many thanks also to Tyrellspass Castle who
provided us with much appreciated lunch.

to Mary Loughman for the dinner and use of the hall, to Lough Ree
